I’m an electronic musician and sound designer working in Ithaca, NY. I play a variety of hardware and software (primarily iPad-based) synthesizers
I perform solo and in a few collaborations:
- DFLT, with James Spitznagel
- BeardFarm, with Karl Fury
- Walmort Portrait Studio, with Charles Shriner.
- High Anxiety Cabaret, with Rob Snyder
I’ve appeared at the Northeast Electro-music Festival (NEEMFest), at Mountain Skies in Black Mountain/Asheville NC, at EEEMFest (in Rutherford, NJ), and at the Cosmic Crossings series in the Princeton/Philadelphia area. I performed for an audience of electronic musicians, acousticians, engineers, and social scientists at the Cornell-sponsored Upstate Sound Meetup in Ithaca. I’ve appeared twice on WPRB radio in Princeton. I’m also a founding member of the Bleep Salon electronic music collective in Ithaca. Like everybody else, I’ve spent the last year and a half performing via streamcast; most of them are recorded here.
As a producer, I started one of the incarnations of Ithaca Electrozone and produced and designed its Big EZ festival in 2018. I am part of the leadership for the Northeast Electro-music Festival each year in Homer, NY.
