Open Culture did a nice piece on Nina Hagen, but I didn’t like their selection as well as I do this one (from the same concert)(because, y’know, white punks on dope). Also her band’s fantastic.

And while we’re at it, you should absolutely see this rendition of “Fever” from Burghausen. I particularly like the saxophone player who can’t keep a straight face, and the other sax player who looks exactly like what you’d think an East German saxophonist would look like, more or less.
