Six or seven years back, I thought about building something like this. Fortunately, somebody(ies) did, several of them, and they’re all great. They’re a great way to pass the time and improve your High-Fidelity-surly-record-store-clerk-fu .
Also, I think Ted Gioia’s a jerk. That actually has nothing to do with this post, but every seventh or eleventh time I post anything involving jazz, it needs to be said.
